Dahek is a 1999 Hindi movie based on a love story between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl. When this love story is opened to the girl’s uncle, who is an autocratic, he decides to kill both. Fearing his anger, the boy and girl elope and get married. However, the news of eloping of a Hindu boy with a Muslim girl creates tension between the respective communities.
