It is also based on the dam disaster of Banqio in the year 1975 which claimed 250,000 lives of Chinese people. The star cast for the film is inclusive of Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajit Kapur, Vimala Raman, Vinay Rai, Linda Arsenio and Joshua Fredrick Smith.
