Ek Dil Sau Afsane is a 1963 comedy and family drama film directed by R. C. Talwar. It features Raj Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman in lead roles, and Lalita Pawar, Jagdish Raj, and Meher Banu in supporting roles. The film revolves around the wishers of the protagonist’s grandmother who dearly wish to have a male child. But her grandson becomes a father of a baby girl. So to placate her, a baby boy of a friend is presented as by the couple as their own child.
