Insaan Jaag Utha is directed by Sakhti Samanta released in 1959. Sunil Dutt, Madhubala, Nasir Hussain, and Madan Puri are the main casts. Its plot is about a smuggler who comes to a village to find his hidden booty. He starts working as a labour where the government is constructing a dam. He falls in love with a village girl working at the same site, and from there on starts the reformation of his self.
