Jagte Raho is taking a glimpse into the life-style of people in a city apartment after the dark. It is a 1956 film directed by Amit Mitra, and produced by Raj Kapoor. The plot is about a poor peasant from a village looking for a job in the city. He gets thirsty, and tries to quench his thirst on several places. Finally, he enters an apartment consisting over 200 units. Since it is the night time, the residents mistake him for a thief and chase him. To escape, he runs from one flat to another where he gets to see what goes behind the closed door after dark.
