About Lady Gaga: Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (born March 28, 1986), known professionally as Lady Gaga, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for reinventing herself throughout her career and for her versatility in numerous areas of the entertainment industry. She studied at Collaborative Arts Project 21, through New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, before dropping out to pursue a music career. When Def Jam Recordings canceled her contract, she worked as a songwriter for Sony/ATV Music Publishing, where Akon helped her sign a joint deal with Interscope Records and his own label KonLive Distribution in 2007. The follow-up EP The Fame Monster (2009), along with the singles “Bad Romance”, “Telephone” and “Alejandro”, were also successful.

Lyrics:

[Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga & together:]
I won’t dance, don’t ask me
I won’t dance, don’t ask me
I won’t dance, Madame, with you
My heart won’t let my feet do things that you do You know what? You’re lovely
And so what? I’m lovely
But, oh, what you do to me
I’m like an ocean wave that’s bumped on the shore
I feel so absolutely stumped on the floor When you dance, you’re charming and you’re gentle
Especially when we do the Continental
But this feeling isn’t purely mental
For, heaven rest us, we’re not asbestos And that’s why
I won’t dance, why should I?
I won’t dance, how could I?
I won’t dance, merci beaucoup
We know that music leads the way to romance,
So if I hold you in my arms I won’t dance When you dance, you’re charming and you’re gentle
Especially when we do the Continental
But this feeling isn’t purely mental (Oh, really?)
For, heaven rest us, I’m not asbestos And that’s why
I won’t dance, why should I?
I won’t dance, how could I?
I won’t dance, merci beaucoup
We know that music leads the way to romance
So if I hold you in my arms I won’t dance
I won’t dance
I won’t dance
I won’t dance
I won’t
Dance, dance, dance,
I won’t dance
Dance
