Paayal is a 1992 film starring Bhagyashree, Himalaya, Farida Jalal, Annu Kappor, and Shakti Kapoor in lead roles. A girl is refused to marry a man of his choice by her mother. Seeing no option, she elopes and settles with the man in the city. A few years later, the man’s friend comes to the lady with her grand-daughter, who after growing up is also repeating the same history set by her mother.
