Pakeezah – Chalo Dildar Chalo Chand Ke Paar Chalo Song Lyrics

Pakeezah is a film that took 14 years in completing it. The delay was due to estrange relationship between Meena Kumari and Kamal Amrohi, the producer and director of the film, who was married to Meena Kumari. The film got completed only when Sunil Dutt and Nargis insisted Meena Kumari to do the film. The film was released on February 4, 1972 and was declared a flop. But with the death of the Meena Kumari after a few weeks of the film’s release, audiences starting thronging to the theatres and the film became a hit.
