Parineeta – 1953 – Chaand Hai Wohi Song Lyrics

Parneeta is a 1953 story of two families neighbour to each other. While one is rich, the other is poor. When the latter has to marry one of their daughters, they mortgage their house to the former. Meanwhile, love is already brimming between the girl and the boy from both these families. In this love story, a third person enters who offers loan without interest in order to free the house from mortgage. This, creates a misunderstanding that the girl has been sold to that man.
