Paying Guests is a comedy film the plot of which is picked from a hit Marathi movie Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi. The climax scene in the movie is directly picked from the cult classic Jane Bhi Do Yaaro. However, this time the actors are trying to rescue a property document from the hands of villains. The movie was released in 2009, and became a semi-hit despite its lukewarm opening.
