Saajan Chale Sasural is directed by David Dhawan and produced by Mansoor Siddiqui. It was a hit movie of 1996 starring Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, Satish Kaushik, and Kader Khan in lead roles. The story is of an exceptionally talented village guy in music who comes to the city and impresses the owner of a cassette company. He marries the daughter of the owner after receiving the news of his wife being dead in a flood. Luckily, he meets his wife in a hospital and from thereon is forced to play a double character so that both his wives would not know that he is the same person.
