Saaransh – Har Ghadi Dhal Rahi Shyam Hai Zindagi Song Lyrics

Saaransh is one of the finest performances of Anupam Kher, who is making his debut in this 1984 film directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film was nominated for the 1985 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The story is of an aged Maharashtrian couple living in Mumbai and coming to terms with their only son’s death by muggers in New York. As there is no source of income, they rent a room to a girl in love with the local politician’s son, who has no guts to tell his father that he wants to marry the girl. The couple, along with the girl are threatened by the goons of the politician to abort the child and leave the town.
