Saath Saath is a commercial-cum-art film released in 1982 written and directed by Raman Kumar. The film starred Farooq Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Neena Gupa, Avtar Gill, A. K. Hangal, Iftekhar, and Sudha Chopra in lead roles. The story is of a man from a middle-class family full of enthusiasm and proud of his principles, policies and idealistic views. He marries his college sweetheart. However, soon after the birth of their first child, he gives up all his simplicity and moral values, and starts treading on the path he once hated.
