Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam is all-time classic movie directed by Abrar Alvi and produced by Guru Dutt. The film was released in 1962 and is picturised based on a novel that was published with the same name. The film exudes a sympathetic feeling towards the main character who is desperately trying to get her husband out of the habit of drinking. In order to keep him at home and by her side, she even starts providing company to him by drinking herself. Meena Kumari won Filmfare Best Actress Award.
